About the Poem
A shape poem, or perhaps two related shape poems, on the theme of Christmas trees and the troubles they bring. When I was a child, things were simple. You had a proper Christmas tree - meaning a Norway spruce - or no tree at all. Now its much more complicated, with a choice between proper Christmas trees, artificial Christmas trees (yuck) and the strange hybrid no-drop trees such as Nordman firs. Decisions, decisions!
