About the Poem

Mermaids are mythical sea creatures which are half-woman and half-fish. Critically, mermaids have the head and torso of a woman and a tail of a fish. I suspect that mermaids wouldn't have received as much attention if they had fish heads (Timmy likes fish heads, but very few people do) and human bodies.

Whatever the mermaid said,
it came out as a bubble.
Signal dead on ocean bed -
usual hi-tech trouble.
