About the Poem

When I was a child, airfix models were all the rage. You received a kit in which was the size of a shoe box and with the help of glue, paint and Dad you made a model aeroplane the size of a matchbox. Similar paradoxes seem to exist in relation to the construction and deconstruction of snowmen.

Fall of the Snowman

Snowmen start their fall to earth
From Heaven above unassembled
And like a snow globe it resembled
But if a snowman were then desired
Some assembly would be required
